Events

Events are items in Abound Worlds designed to represent notable occurrences in your world's history. They serve as key markers on the Timeline page, providing structure and context to your world's chronology. Like all items, events include two sections: Details and Gallery.

Events are showcased in two primary locations on the Timeline page:

• On the Timeline: Event icons appear directly on the timeline, placed according to their start date.
• Events Container: Located at the bottom of the Timeline page, the events container provides a detailed list of all events.

Each event consists of two main sections: Details and Gallery.

• Details: The Details section is where you store all the textual and informational content related to the event.
• Gallery: The Gallery section is dedicated to visual content related to the event. This is where you can upload and organize images.

To create and manage events, follow these steps:

1. Open Create Menu: Simply right click anywhere on the timeline page and select the Create Event option.
2. Event Name: Choose a name for the desired event.
3. Event Level: Select the level of significance the event has. Core, Major, Moderate, Minor, Trivial.
4. Event Timespan: Select the start and end dates of the event.
5. Adding Information to Event: Once an event has been created, you can start adding the information by opening the event's Detail section.

• Utilize Event Levels: Assign an appropriate level to each event to emphasize its importance within the timeline.
• Add Images: Enhance your event with images in the Gallery section to help bring your ideas to life.
• Maintain Chronological Order: Regularly review and update your events to ensure they accurately reflect your world's evolving history.

Events are the milestones of your world's history, bringing depth and structure to your timeline. By effectively managing their Details and Gallery sections, you can create a rich, immersive narrative that enhances your worldbuilding efforts.
