Documents

Documents are the file endpoints in Abound Worlds, designed to store and present detailed information about specific elements of your world. They are highly customizable and versatile, making them ideal for storing narratives, character profiles, location information, or any other key details of your world.

Documents are stored in the Files page of your world. They can be placed within categories or organized inside sub-folders for better structure and accessibility.

To create and manage documents, follow these steps:

1. Create a New Document: Select the New Item option, and choose document.
2. Naming Your Document: Give your document a meaningful name that reflects its purpose, such as "The Kingdom of Elsyr", "Dragon", or "Sword".
3. Adding a Stripe Color: Choosing a stripe color can help you better organize your items in case the amount of items grow quite large.
4. Adding Information to Document: Once a document has been created, you can start adding the information by opening the item's Detail section.

Each document consists of two main sections: Details and Gallery.

• Details: The Details section is where you store all the textual and informational content related to the item.
• Gallery: The Gallery section is dedicated to visual content related to the item. This is where you can upload and organize images.

• Be Specific: Each document should focus on a single subject or element for clarity and depth.
• Add Images: Enhance your items with images in the Gallery section to help bring your ideas to life.

Documents are the backbone of your worlds, providing the tools you need to design, organize, and detail every aspect of your projects.
