Details

The Details section is the primary document and information hub for any item in Abound Worlds. It is designed to store and organize all the essential information about an item in a structured and visually appealing format. This section uses customizable panels to present your content in an intuitive way.

The Details section is organized into panels, notes, and variables.

Panels

Panels contain a heading and row sections. This modular design allows you to tailor the information layout to suit the needs of each item. The row section types include:

• Title: Highlights key names, deisgnations, or identifiers. For example, "Fireball".
• Text: Used for paragraphs of descriptive or narrative content.
• Attributes: Displays a list of key-value pairs for quick reference. For example, "Population: 12,000".
• Diagram: Embeds visual diagrams to represent complpex information. For example, an organizational hierarchy.
• Table: Presents tabular data in rows and columns for structured datasets.
• Images: Adds visual context with uploaded images. For example, maps, character portraits, or ability gifs.

Notes

Notes are the perfect place to write your thoughts on a particular item, without needing to worry about organization or formatting

Variables

Variables contain categories that include attribute key-value pairs to store small information that does not require a whole panel section. For example, "Age: 26"

Panels

• Adding a New Panel: Create a new panel by selecting the New Panel butotn at the bottom of the page and choosing what section you want to start with.
• Editing a Panel: Right click anywhere on a panel or click on the 3 dots button at the top right of the desired panel to open the edit menu. You can rename and delete the category from there.

Panel Rows

• Adding New Rows: Right clicking on an existing row will allow you to create a new row above or below the existing one.
• Editing Existing Rows: Right clicking on an item will also allow you to delete that row.

• Use Descriptive Headings: Clearly label panels to make it easy to navigate the Details section.
• Mix Content Types: Combine different row sections to best display the item's information in a way that works for you.
• Keep It Relevant: Regularly review and update the Details section to ensure it reflects the current state of the item.

The Details section is a powerful tool for conveying information and adding depth to your items in Abound Worlds. With its flexible and modular design, you can create a tailored and immersive experience for every element of your world.
